The German Chamber invited their members at Wednesday, 23. September 2015 to the second Roundtable CSR. During the second meeting the working group continued their discussion and invited representatives from NGOs and member companies to share their view on CSR activities and present CSR projects in China. One of the key note speakers was Starke director Daniel Albrecht, who spoke in his function as club president of the Rotary Club of Beijing. He demonstrated the structure of Rotary China and gave an overview how easy it is also for SME to take part in social projects close by their companies.
At the first meeting in July the participants discussed the challenges of CSR activities and consulted possibilities how companies can engage in CSR. Company representatives shared their expertise and introduced already existing CSR projects.
